Playlist keeps disappearing
-
I am super frustrated.
For about the 5th time in the past month, I spent considerable time this weekend curating my playlist from a variety of sources, only to open the app again today and find all but a couple episodes (of a dozen or two I had added) gone from The list. I didn’t do anything to remove them, they just spontaneously disappeared.
They are not in my listening history.
Is there any way to find out what’s happening here? Seriously, WTH? There’s not much that will get me to quit using an app more quickly than one that randomly deletes my data and wastes my time.

Hi @mitchellzone,
It sounds like you’re referring to the Up Next queue, is that correct?
If so, I suspect you have run into a sync conflict that can cause issues like this. Would you go through the troubleshooting steps in this guide to ensure that you’re logged into the same account on all devices without any sync errors? https://support.pocketcasts.com/knowledge-base/folder-and-up-next-sync-conflicts/

Yes, that seems to be the issue. I was able to restore the latest deletions from my Up Next queue.
However, while I was looking at the queue on both my iPad and iPhone simultaneously, I actually watched as more episodes were removed from the queue on one device (and not the other), putting them immediately out of sync. So I restored them AGAIN.
So it’s great that I can restore these, but how do I keep this from happening in the first place? For me, this rare occurrence doesn’t seem so rare… -
Hi there! Thank you for sending in the debug logs. Our team will be in touch with you by email. I’m marking this thread as solved.
