Playlist sort add / sort order

I keep hours of playlists on hand for driving but when I add new topics they are added to the top leaving older entries at the bottom. Why doesn’t it add new items to the bottom of the list?

Pocket Casts doesn’t have “Playlists” per se. Are you using Filters or your Up Next Queue?
- Filters have their own built-in sorting rules like viewing podcast feeds themselves. You’re limited to sorting by Newest to Oldest (and the reverse) and Shorted to Longest (and the reverse); Newest and Oldest are based on episode release date, not when you added them/they became eligible to the Filter.
- Your Up Next Queue, you can manage the play order more precisely. When you “swipe right” on an episode you can choose to put it at the top or the bottom of the list. You can configure which one (top or bottom) happens when you “long swipe”.
Are you using one of these two areas for “Playlists”, or something else?
