Please Reincorporate The Middle-Click Playback Speed 1.0 Function

    Hi there,

    It appears that with the most recent app update, when clicking in the middle of the Playback Speed button enough times, it no longer lands on the default/”normal” 1.0 speed after enough clicks, instead jumping from 4.0 to 1.5…

    As I frequently listen using speeds between 1.5 and 2.0 but definitely still have some staple podcasts that warrant regular speed, the previous ability to quickly revert back to 1.0 in a pinch was very convenient!

    Please consider tweaking the changes that so middle-clicking to 1.0 remains an option going forward (or at least giving the user a section in Settings to enable/adjust/disable such Playback Speed preferences.

    Have you tried changing the playback settings for the podcasts you want to play at 1.0 speed? Go to the settings for the podcast and select Playback effects. There, you can select the playback speed for that podcast. It’ll automatically play at the speed you choose.

    Thanks for the information, but I have to switch between 2x and 1x speed within a podcast episode from time to time. This is now much more cumbersome with the new behavior. I would therefore like to see a setting here that makes the behavior more controllable. Also for example, that 2x is maximum via middle click.
