Pocketcast web player playback speed broken

I usually listen podcast on pocketcast web with playback speed at 1.4x but I noticed that now this feature is broken and I can go over 1x

Can you please confirm with us if you are using our Web App in a web browser or one of our Desktop apps?
Additionally, please let us know if it happens with all podcasts or just specific ones.
If you are using our Web app in a browser, it would be a good idea to try an Incognito Tab to see if that works properly or not.

I don’t think it’s broken per se, but the playback speed settings seem to be out of sync between the desktop app and mobile app – I got my speed set to 1.5 on mobile and 3 on some podcasts on mobile but on desktop it’s 1 and 1.2 respectively. I can increase it manually again there, but this seems to reset my mobile settings sometimes, which is annoying.

@lajwrona Pocket Casts does not currently sync playback speed between devices at all. This is something that is selected on each device individually.
Additionally, the desktop and web app does not offer the ability to configure playback speed for specific podcasts. The playback speed is set during playback with the controls at the bottom.
If you’d like to make changes to the default playback speed for individual podcasts on the mobile app, though, this can be done by navigating to the Podcasts tab > tap on the podcast from the list > tap on the gear icon > Playback Effects.
From there you can enable Custom For This Podcast and select the playback effects that you’d like to enable for the podcast.
