Podcast ‘looping instead of ending on a verbal (Siri) fast foward

Ok this is very specific, but will do my best to explain.
I will often queue up 2 or 3 podcasts as I’m doing things around the house. When a podcast is over (the host has wrapped, for example) but there is still a little time left, I used to be able to tell Siri, “Hey Siri, skip ahead 2 minutes”. If the podcast only had a minute remaining, it would simply complete the episode and move to what is next in the queue.
But lately, if I attempt this interaction, instead of ending the episode it will ‘loop’ around and start from the top. So if there’s 1 minute remaining and I ask Siri to skip ahead 2 minutes, it will hop to the 1 minute mark near the beginning.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior? Would this be more likely caused by a modification to Siri or to Pocket Casts?

Thanks for flagging this with us. We released a fix on May 15 for this in our TestFlight Beta. The fix will be included in our stable release next week via the App Store (version 7.89)
