Podcast Not Showing Up in Search Bar Despite Being On App

Hi there – We’re receiving reports that our show Possible is not showing up when folks search “Possible” in the search bar on the app. The show is in the app (link here: https://pca.st/thaaom8n) but it won’t show up to new listeners when they search Possible or any of the author, hosts, or guest names. Can you please advise?

I’ve taken a closer look into this and can confirm that your podcast is shown when searched for in Pocket Casts.
That said, on Mobile, we’re still working on fine-tuning the search functionality so it currently isn’t shown as the first option, but is listed as one of the top 10 options when searching for “Possible”.

Thank you! 2 questions: (1) is it for sure showing up for everyone in the top 10 list? We’ve heard that it is not showing up at all and not sure if the view differs from user to user for any reason. (2) So glad to hear something is in the works on search! Is there any timeline you can share on when we can see that go into effect/learn more?

Yes, it certainly is. We’re also working on getting it higher on the list in an upcoming update.
We’ve heard that it is not showing up at all and not sure if the view differs from user to user for any reason.
It will be the same for all users, but it is possible that the user didn’t notice it.
So glad to hear something is in the works on search! Is there any timeline you can share on when we can see that go into effect/learn more?
We don’t have an ETA but its in progress right now, so you will start seeing changes very soon!
