Podcast re downloads after listening to it

I have one podcast that re-downloads after I have already listened to it. Is there a setting that I need to uncheck for it only to download once?

It sounds like there might be a sync-related issue that’s reverting your listening status.
- Please update to the latest version of the app if you haven’t already done so.
- Restart your device
- Ensure that you are logged in to the same Pocket Casts account on all your devices. To do that:
- Navigate to the mobile app’s “Profile” tab.
- While you’re in the “Profile” tab, too, please see if there are any errors there.
- Check your network settings.
- Go to Pocket Casts > Profile > Settings
- Click ‘Help & Feedback’
- Click the ‘Network Testing Icon’ on the top right
- Select ‘Run Now’ to test your network connection
If none of those steps help, it would be best for you to contact us from your mobile directly. When you do that, you will also be sending your app logs with us. You can reach out through the Pocket Casts app — Profile > Help & Feedback > Get in touch.
It would be helpful if you could note the title of the episode you were listening to and at approximately what time, so we can correlate it with the information from the logs. You can use the URL link to this forum thread as a reference.
