Podcast Recommendations Based on Your Subscriptions

I’ve gone ahead and added a feature request for this on your behalf.
For context, we consider features to add based on the number of requests we receive for them. So, the more users request a feature, the higher the chances it gets built.

+1 on recommendations. I think it can possibly be split between “recommended episodes from your subscriptions” (also based on your listening history/patterns) and “discover new podcasts”

@bernardquynguyen if you navigate to the Discover tab within the app, you should see a “You Might Like” section, which suggests podcasts based on the other podcasts you’re following.
As for recommending episodes, could you share with us bit more about where you’d expect to see a feature like that? And would it recommend episodes from podcasts you’re already following that you haven’t listened to yet or were you thinking it would recommend episodes from other podcasts as well?

It could be helpful if the Discover page contained podcasts based on the country or language the user selects.

I have a playlist of “New Releases” which includes all the new episodes from the podcasts I have subscriptions for. As the number of shows increases, sifting through this list becomes more and more time-consuming. It would be cool to have some sort of automated filtering based on “these are episodes we think you’ll like” or some sort of ranking metrics like listens/shares/etc.
