Podcast stops playing when screen is off

  I have a Samsung s23 and podcasts will only play for 10 to 15 minutes while the screen is off. I have tried setting unrestricted battery for the app and also putting in the never sleeping app list. Removed and reinstalled the app etc with nothing working. Does anyone have any advice?

  hi, answering my own question incase others have this problem. I found it was the fact I use Duckduckgo app tracker protection. Whitelisting pocket cast fixed the issue.
