Podcasts keep resetting to unplayed

I’m on the latest version of iOS. As the title says. I keep having to reset previous played podcasts like 2 to 3 times before it finally stops re-marking them as unplayed and playing them again. This started happening on the last version. Currently on 7.54.0.6. It does it several times a day and resets the up next as well. So, I listen, it disappears, several hours later it resets everything I listened to in that time back to unplayed. Anyone else seeing this? I’m just trying to figure out if I just need to troubleshoot just my device or if I should report this somewhere. Doesn’t happen with every episode of every podcast. Podcasts are from multiple publishers.

This is quite and odd one that we would like to take a much closer look into.
Since you do have Pocket Casts Plus, it would be a good idea to trigger the issue, then go to Profile > Help & Support, and then click ‘Get Support’. Add a link to this forum post in your message.
You should then receive a message from our AI Assistant, after which you can reply with your database logs. You can get that from the ‘Help and Support’ page too
