podcasts not streaming

  I’ve been using pocket casts for years but in the last week or so I’ve suddenly encountered an issue. When I hit play, nothing happens. Occasionally after a few minutes it will randomly start streaming. But otherwise they only work if they’ve downloaded.

  I’ve tried reinstalling the app and clearing the cache – but neither has made a difference. It’s really frustrating.

  Sounds very similar to me. working fine. Then the past week it’s been unusable. Hit play and then maybe it will start playing later. Last night hit play, nothing happened, but it did start playing an hour or so later after we had gone to sleep. Seems to be busying syncing all the time but not actually working. I’ve done exactly the same testing. Cleared cache, removed and reinstalled, but the issue persists.

  @adgro & @trikkitt – can you confirm with us if this is happening with all podcasts or just specific ones?

  Also, please make sure that you aren’t using any Firewall or VPN on your network or device.
