Podcasts Streaming on Mobile Data

I have a limited amount of mobile data and for the last few months I have noticed that Pocketcasts is using a lot of it. I have the “Warn before using data” setting on and I see the warning but the episode still plays. I would like to not have to micromanage my up next playlist and manually skip podcasts that aren’t downloaded. Is there a way to set Pocketcasts to automatically skip past episodes in my up next list that aren’t downloaded?

That is not possible, but is a good idea. I added it to our ideas board for consideration.
A workaround I’d use would be to download episodes in my Up Next queue via Settings > Auto Download > Episodes added to Up Next. This will ensure episodes in the queue are downloaded, which will happen when you are using WiFi.
