Preparing for factory reset
-
In order to resolve a (non Pocket Casts) software problem with my phone, I need to factory reset it. In order to keep all my settings, feeds, un/played episodes, etc. exactly the same after the reset, what do I need to do for Pocket Casts?

Well, I couldn’t wait for an answer on this thread so I had to go ahead and factory reset. On the web, when logged into my PC account, I see each podcast with the number of archived episodes. On my phone, however, it shows them all as unarchived. How do I get my phone to sync/match with what’s showing on the web?

@reblazer, the support page you linked to should be up to date and include the list of settings that don’t sync.

Are you seeing the same email address listed in the Profile tab on your mobile device as you’re seeing when you click on your avatar/profile picture on your PC? If not, you’ll want to make sure you’re logged in to the same account on your mobile device.

@reblazer if you navigate to the Profile tab on your mobile device and scroll to the bottom, do you see any error messages at all? If you tap the “Refresh” button, does it appear to refresh without error at all?
If those all seem to be okay, we may need app logs to investigate this further. Could you reach out to us through the app to send those along? You can navigate to Profile > Help & Feedback > Contact Support > Get Support to contact us.

I checked and don’t see any error messages there. And, yes, it refreshes in a second or so, seemingly without errors. I emailed support with logs and mentioned this post.
