Pricing increased by factor 4?

    Hi,

    please someone kindly point out in what way the Pocket Casts product or service will improve starting November to validate an increase of the price by factor 4 (yearly price from 11 € to 44 €).

    I would like to add that I have been a subscriber for years, so this is not a new subscription.

    The new pricing should only apply to new subscribers — you can find more information about that here. If you’re seeing the incorrect price as an existing subscriber please be sure to reach out to us via the Pocket Casts app — Profile > Settings > Help & Feedback > Get in touch.     Thanks, I was able to get a renewal for a yearly price of 17 € including tax. Thanks for that.

    Too bad that word of mouth by existing customers has now effectively been killed, as no one is likely to recommend the product at the upped price for new subscribers, making it less likely to nurture a sustainable user base.
