Private Patreon RSS feed listening history reset

A Patreon podcast I subscribe to I think was having some troubles with their RSS feed and did something on their end that caused my listening history / archived / everything to be reset in pocketcasts. It looks like I’ve just subscribed, never listened before. Is there any way to get back my listening history? They have almost 700 episodes and even if I could remember for certain everything that I’ve listened to just going through and marking them all would be a pain.
I primarily listen on MacOS, is there any cached file or anything I could go back in my Time Machine to restore this? -
It sounds like they made a change to their podcast feed that resulted in Pocket Casts believing that every episode in the feed is a new episode. If that’s the case, it’s unlikely that any of that listening history would be able to be applied to the episodes again.
You could check in Profile > Listening History to see if any of the episodes are listed, which could help you piece it back together and apply those changes to the episodes that are currently in the feed. But it sounds like the number of episodes that are in the feed and what you’ve listened to would make that a tedious process.
Could you let us know the name of the podcast that this happened to? We could take a look at the feed from our end to, at the very least, see if we’re able to determine what happened with the feed to cause it.

Alright, I had a feeling but figured it was worth asking!
The podcast is Hello From the Magic Tavern, the ad-free patreon feed for it. I think some people were having an issue with new episodes not showing up so they did something to the RSS feed to fix that, and that seems to indeed have marked everything as a new episode (though the dates on them still show when they were originally published.)
I looked in Listening History and indeed a few of them show up in there. When I click the ones I’d listened to before they did whatever they did it goes to a blank page, as it seems like those episodes no longer register as existing.
Screenshots attached of clicking the same episode from my listening history vs the podcast’s feed.Never mind, it doesn’t let me attach images. Basically one shows nothing but the podcast name, the other has the episode title, date, and description.
So, sounds like I may need to do this manually! Is there any way to mark things played in bulk? It doesn’t seem like you can shift-click ranges of episodes or anything like that? -

For context, it’s unlikely that a single podcast should affect your entire Pocket Casts data. So, this is very strange, but there might be a different cause. In any case, we definitely want to investigate.
