Re-enable single tap mark as played on Android App

  The Android app has recently had a confirmation dialog added so when you tap mark as played you have to tap again to confirm and actually mark as played. Given how many podcasts have ads at the end , or you just want to skip this is a major downgrade in functionality. Feature request is either to restore the old single tap functionality (and as it still is on for example the Mac OS Desktop app) or add a setting somewhere to enable / disable the confirmation dialog.

  @rdowney6d94f5e207 To help us check if this behavior is intended, can you please share the following information?

  • Where are you using “Mark as Played” from? Is it from the full-screen player? Or is it from an episode list (filter, podcast page, and so on)?
  • Your Pocket Casts app version – you can see this from the Pocket Casts app’s Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About
