We recently got a request for support I wanted to share here in case others have this same question:
My podcast is no longer active on the source page, nor do I want it public anymore. Please take this podcast page description down ASAP
Pocket Casts servers don’t save your content. We save a link to it so that listeners can easily download your episodes. That means if the source feed is no longer active, the podcast won’t work here either.
That said, because we keep a history of podcasts you listen to for you, even if the podcast is no longer active, it’s page will remain in Pocket Casts so we can help keep your stats for you. You’ll see the podcast page here even after a feed URL is no longer active.
