Revamping the Pocket Casts Community: A Feature Request for User Engagement

I would like to suggest that Pocket Casts explore the idea of refining its community website to offer a more structured and organized experience, drawing inspiration from platforms like Spotify Community, Plex, or Deezer?

Such a feature enhancement could substantially enhance the user experience by enabling easier navigation, fostering meaningful discussions, and facilitating better content discovery.

By implementing features such as categorized forums, improved content tagging, and user-friendly search functionalities, you could create a more user-centric community hub, promoting deeper engagement among podcast enthusiasts.

Furthermore, enhancing the community website in this manner might encourage increased user involvement, knowledge sharing, and peer support.

Considering the potential benefits, it would be valuable to know if Pocket Casts has contemplated this feature and if any plans are in place to investigate its feasibility.

An improved and well-structured community platform could not only elevate the overall user experience but also strengthen the bond between Pocket Casts and its devoted community of podcast listeners.

  • Thanks again for the suggestions, @teknevra96! We definitely want to build the community, and we’ll hopefully get to focus on that further once we have more resources available to us.
