“Rewind by 1 minute” commands from Google Assistant rewinds to start

  When playing a podcast on my Android phone, I used to be able to use voice commands like “Rewind by 1 minute” and “Rewind by 45 seconds”, and Pocketcasts would properly rewind the podcast by the specified amount of time. Now, however, Pocketcasts rewinds right to the start of the podcast, which is quite a frustrating experience.

  Is this a known issue? Any workarounds or fixes for it? The feature made using Pocketcasts immensely useful when driving, for example. Thank you!

  Hi, @mlalkaka! We’d love to look into this. To start, can you share the following information with me:

  • The OS version on your Android device – you can usually find this from your phone’s Settings > About phone > Software information
  • Your Pocket Casts app version – you can see this from the Pocket Casts app’s Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About

  Also, if you have other music-playing apps, can you see if the rewind commands still work on those as expected?
