  Hi, I was wondering if there’s any chance of a future integration with roon:

  and another integration with Wiim Home:

  Thank you for your reply and attention.

  Here’s what I had in mind: I was wondering if the PocketCasts web API is open and can interact with these apps, Roon and Wiim Home, provided these parties are open to the service integration.

  For example, Tidal is available via the web API both in Roon and in Wiim Home, and allows using their premium/paid service from within Roon’s Library or from within the Wiim Home app, via web API and user login as well.

  Another example of integration is the integration of Calm Radio into Wiim Home. Calm Radio is also a premium streaming service.

  I had this idea because neither of the two apps/ecosystems have a podcast integration. Ideally, Wiim hardware owners would love having the opportunity of playing their favorite podcasts from one place as well, from within the Wiim Home app.

  The same would be nice to have from one place in the Roon server library. Roon added a live radio streams library and the opportunity to add streams manually as well, so having a podcast section in the Roon library would be absolutely fantastic.

  Thanks for that additional information! That was very helpful.

  We currently don’t have an API that other apps can interact with. However, we have an open feature request for this, and I made sure to add a vote for it on your behalf, so that we can see more integrations between Pocket Casts and other apps in the future.

  Just wanted to chime in here with a +1 for an accessible web api. I’d be very interested in seeing what smart home integrations, etc I could on top of something like that.

  Registered to add a voice for this. I have 5, soon to be 6 Wiim devices for streaming music to individual or groups of rooms/areas in my house. Being able to select a Pocket Casts Filter from inside the Wiim app would be amazing.
