Same episode appears multiple times in list, and one of them is AI-translated?!
-
For the Spanish-language podcast Mextalki, when viewing the episode list using the Pocket Casts iPhone app, I see two entries for Episode 130: one from March 28 and one from March 29. See screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/xhclXL5
The episode from March 28 is an AI-translated into English version of the episode from March 29 – it’s the exact content from the March 29 episode, but processed and translated to English, and it’s the strangest thing I’ve ever heard. But when I view the Mextalki episode list on the Pocket Casts web site, or in Apple Podcasts, or on Mextalki’s own web site, this AI-translated to English episode from March 28 does not appear in the list.
Is this is Pocket Casts bug, a feed problem, or something else? I even went so far as to look at the raw RSS feed at https://anchor.fm/s/3d813124/podcast/rss and the phantom English-language episode 130 from March 28 is not there.

When I check for this episode on our end, I’m not seeing the duplicate episodes as you describe. My suspicion is that the podcast creator released the incorrect episode file to their podcast feed and it was cached to your device before they released the corrected version. Since you likely interacted with the episode, it remained on your device — even after it was removed from the feed.
You can feel free to archive that episode and it should eventually disappear from the app once there’s been enough time for those types of caches to be cleared. :)

I’ll go ahead and close the thread, but you can feel free to create a new one if you have any other questions at all!
