Search Not Working

  I heard this was a problem back in May. This morning (7/27/25) it has not been working for me on two different Android devices. Spotify search IS working. So are all my other internet related functions.

  Same issue here. Search hasn’t been working for about 3 hours now.

  Hi there, @rubyotic! Thanks for letting us know you’re having trouble with search today. Could you give me an example of what search is not working? Are you getting an error message when looking for a specific keyword or phrase? Do you see an error regardless of the term being used?
  Finally, could you share the version of Pocket Casts you’re using, and which type of device you have?

  I have had this issue a round a month. Whenever I search something I get the message “search failed. Control your Internet connection “. I have a Samsung galaxy 24 ultra. Version of pocket casts is 7.98

  @catcatsson That’s a very unusual message! I don’t think I’ve run into that before. I’m using a similar device as you, S23 Ultra, and so far, I haven’t been able to replicate your issue in my tests.

  To be sure, can you please check if you’re using any VPN, ad-blocker, or firewall on either your device or the Wi-Fi network it’s using? Please also try running this test: https://support.pocketcasts.com/knowledge-base/how-to-check-my-network-connection/

  Then, please let us know the results.
