Search Only My Followed Podcasts

  I’d love to be able to search my library (podcasts I’m subscribed to) for certain topics. Sometimes I know I’ve listened to a podcast about a certain topic, or with a particular guest, but if I search that, it only shows me results from all podcasts that exist. So I’d like the option to limit searches to my library.

  I’ve wished for this as well. Why does the search bar on the Podcasts tab (your subscribed shows) do the same thing as the search bar on the Discover tab?

  +1000. This is an essential in an age where podcasts are a primary news source. I will never consider a paid subscription in the absence of this feature

  On the topic of “Sometimes I know I’ve listened to a podcast about a certain topic”, it would be nice if search in Listen History searched the episode description and not just the title. That was part of the original request.

  Stretch goal: Have search in Listen History (or search in Followed Podcasts, as this feature requests) also search the transcript.
