Seek buttons do not work in iOS CarPlay

The seek forward and back buttons do not provide a “fast forward” function like they do when I use Apple Podcasts. In Apple Podcasts, these buttons will skip through a few seconds whilst holding the button. I use these for quickly skipping through repetitive sections on some podcasts.
is this a known bug or plans to implement in future?

For clarity, the seek button is a physical car button. Single press for next track, hold for seek.

I appreciate you raising this point. Pocket Casts currently doesn’t support this feature, but I’ve gone ahead and added it to our feature requests list. You might see it in an upcoming release. Our developers consider each feature for every release based on the number of requests we get. If more Pocket Casts users request this feature, the likelihood of its development increases.
