Skip Back/Forward buttons in the Google Home version of PocketCasts

My Google Home device has been working well with Pocketcasts except one issue. When I use PocketCasts on iOS or Android phone there are “Skip Backward” and “Skip Forward” buttons that can be customized.
For some reason on Google Home there’s plenty of room for Skip Back/Forward buttons but they never appear. This is some kind of embedded version of PocketCasts perhaps the same one that appears in CarPlay?
At any rate it would be super helpful to have the Skip Back/Forward buttons appear here as well since sometimes the command to skip back (relisten to something) or skip forward do not work.

Hi there! As of Android 12, Google has removed the casting volume controls. This is out of our control, but we hope that this functionality gets added back in a future Android update. While you can tap the Google Cast button in Pocket Casts to connect, you need to tap Play on any episode in Pocket Casts app to play.
