Sleep Time gremlins

Hey everyone!
I am have an odd – intermittent issue when using the sleep timer and was wondering if I could get some ideas on what to try.I listen to a few different podcasts at night to get to sleep – Get Sleepy, Send Me to Sleep, Sleepytime Braacast – to name a few. When I start an episode, I see how long the story is and set the sleep timer to as close as I can to the episode length. Frequently, but not all the time, the sleep timer stops well before the story is over. But, other times there’s no issue at all and it stops when it’s supposed to.
It can even vary per episode. For instance Monday I listen to a story that’s 50 minutes long, so I set timer to 50 minutes and it plays through just fine. Tuesday I listen to the same episode and set the timer to 50 minutes and it stops at 32 minutes. Things like that.
I’m on Android with the latest update and Version 7.81 (9306) for Pocket Casts if that helps/matters at all.

@slapsgod can you please confirm with us if you are using the ‘skip first’ or ‘skip last’ option for these podcasts?
If so, we just fixed a bug that could have caused such an issue. We will have the fix released in an upcoming update.
If that isn’t the case, it would be useful to view the logs after you notice this happen (via Profile > Help and Feedback > Logs). We have these docs on how to understand the logs: https://support.pocketcasts.com/knowledge-base/understanding-pocket-casts-logs/
You can also paste the snippet of the logs here, for the part when the issue occurred.

I will try to replicated it tonight, or this weekend and when it happens next I’ll grab a screenshot of the log for you.
I am not using the ‘skip first’ or ‘skip last’ options. I’m just selecting one episode and playing it from the start.
Hopefully I can get it to cooperate and do what I’m talking about so i can get you the log info.

Hey @staff-joey8 it finally happened again last night. i took a bunch of screenshots of the logs, but I am not super tech savy so I am not sure what I’m looking for or which one(s) you need to see. Do you want me just to post all of the (what I think are the correct) screenshots here? Or send via email, or some other way? Let me know when you get a chance and I’ll make it happen.
