Smart Folder Episode Listing

New to Pocket Casts and set up some custom Smart Folders which is a handy way to organize. I am trying to find a way now to list episodes of the podcasts in a folder. I have 3 or 4 sports-related folders with podcasts of my teams and I want to see the latest episodes of the 10-20 podcasts in each of the folders. Is there any way to do that?
Please excuse me if this has been addressed but a search did not reveal much for me.

Looks like filters is how to do this although it would be nice if I could have selected a folder rather than individual podcasts to include in the filter. Leveraging the time I already spent populating my folders would make sense here.
Now if we could have multiple “up next” playlists for each filter for example.

Thanks for that answer. Using folders as a criteria would be hugely helpful. Also when selecting podcasts for a filter, it’s currently not possible to search for them. You have to scroll through perhaps a hundred or more and hope you get all the ones you want. Using a folder would make this moot since you can search for podcasts to include in a folder. Where is this enhancement request that you created?

@mazcredi we have a feature request tracker that we maintain internally — it isn’t visible publicly at all. But thank you so much for the additional context on this!
I can’t offer a confirmation or estimated timeframe as to whether this will be implemented, but hopefully our developers will consider it soon!
