Some Podcasts Stuck at 0 Percent Download

We recently had the following message sent to us by a user:
Since updating to the latest version some podcasts but not all are stuck at 0 percent download
Many of the domains podcast authors use for hosting files or statistics tracking are commonly on the blocklists for VPNs and other ad-filtering services. So, if downloads are not working consistently, check the following first:
- Does your device have a firewall, VPN, or ad-blocker active on it?
- Does your primary WiFi connection have any sort of ad-blocking or filtering installed on it? One example would be this: https://pi-hole.net/
You can also try connecting the device to a different network or even to mobile data to check if the issue doesn’t occur with that connection.
If the issues persist without any connection blockers present, please give us the share links to podcast episodes you’ve been having trouble downloading. You can do this by going to the podcast page and clicking on the share icon next to the podcast title. This way, we can check the download from our end.
