Sound fades and playback stops every 30 minutes

In the last few days the sound fades on my podcasts exactly every 30 minutes and then playback stops. I can “cut off” the fading by stopping the playback and restarting, which restores the volume, but then a second (or so) later the playback stops as it would have if I didn’t interrupt it. I can restart playback easily enough; however, this situation repeats itself exactly 30 minutes later. I have not had this same problem while playing music or through other apps. It appears to be a Pocket Casts only problem.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?- Pocket Casts version – 7.74.1.0
- iOS 18.0 (2A3354)
- iPhone 15 Pro
- Playback over Bluetooth headphones (I do not play out of the speakers, so I have not attempted to replicate this through without a connected headset)
