Streaming failed, download failed

i cant listen to any pod at the moment, they each say streaming failed try downloading. When I try downloading, that fails also. This is for various different pods, not just an isolated incident

Hi, @alistairreynolds2! Can you share with us an example of an episode you’re having trouble streaming? From a podcast’s page, you can click on the episode to expand its details, then click on the Share icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
In addition, please share the following information with us:
- The OS version on your device – you can usually find this from your phone’s Settings
- Your Pocket Casts app version – you can see this from the Pocket Casts app’s Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About

hi, I’m having this problem very frequently as well with episodes from the podcast series called “intentionally blank”

@qazsde618 I’ve looked into this but cannot replicate the issue on my Android device.
The first thing to check is your connection:
- Do you perhaps have a firewall, VPN, or ad-blocker active on your device that could interrupt your network connection?
- Please also check your primary WiFi connection. In particular, please see if it has any sort of ad-blocking or filtering installed on it. One example would be this: https://pi-hole.net/
If that is fine, you can have a look at your logs to see what is causing the problem. We have this guide which explains how to view and understand it: https://support.pocketcasts.com/knowledge-base/understanding-pocket-casts-logs/
After replicating the issue again, feel free to share a snippet of the logs here if you aren’t able to determine the cause.
