Sync issues between Android devices

hi! I have sync problems on Android devices. RSS feeds work properly in all devices but playlist and the episode I am listening to do not sync. Any idea?

Hi there! The first thing I would try is going to the “Profile” tab on both devices and tapping “Refresh now” to see if that gets them in sync.
If that doesn’t work, please try logging out and logging back in on both devices. That will usually resolve issues like this, but if it doesn’t let us know.

This is a tricky one. Let me get some more information about what is going on.
- Is the Pocket Casts app on both devices up-to-date?
- Has syncing ever worked as you would expect between these devices or between any other devices you might have? If so, when did syncing stop working?
- Do changes from one device get synced to the other device, or do both devices fail to get changes?
- You mentioned that the playlist and episode you are listening do not sync. Do your subscriptions sync successfully (i.e., if you subscribe/unsubscribe from a podcast on one device, does that get picked up by the other device)?
Some additional things worth trying:
- If you haven’t already, try tapping the “refresh now” button when connected to a different network just to rule out any potential errors with a specific network.
- In the Android app, you can look at the logs by going to “Profile tab” → ⚙️ → “Help & feedback” and tapping on the three line icon on the top of the screen. Do you see any prominent errors in the logs around the time you try to sync?

hi! In an unexpected turn of events, it has fixed itself. I was going to follow your instructions when I saw that everything works fine in my 4 Android devices.
