Sync issues using a new phone

Hello just recently got a new phone, and after downloading the app and logging in, it seems that there are some syncing issues. The main problem I’m having is that podcasts where I’ve listened to in some cases hundreds of episodes no longer have those episodes correctly marked as played or archived. I have tried the refresh button in settings to no avail. is there something I’m missing? Please help, as i have gone far listening to lots of audio.

If you still have access to your old phone, can you confirm if the same episodes are marked as played on it?
It is possible that you might be logged into a different account on the old device vs the new device.
