Sync issues with archiving

I just recently got a new phone, and after downloading the app and logging in, it seems that there are some syncing issues. The main problem I’m having is that podcasts where I’ve listened to in some cases hundreds of episodes no longer have those episodes correctly marked as played or archived. I switched from an iPhone with a fully updated app to a Moto Razor+, again the app is fully updated to date. I have tried the refresh button in settings to no avail. is there something I’m missing? I’d really like the numbers of archived episodes to match up between my devices before I sell my old phone.

As a first step, can you please make sure that you are logged in to the same Pocket Casts account on all your devices? You can check this from the mobile app’s “Profile” tab. While you’re in the “Profile” tab could you also tap the “Refresh” button to ensure a manual sync completes without any errors? If you’re still running into issues after, do let us know!

Yes, I am logged into the same account, and I have tried the refresh button multiple times. I am still having this issue, for example one podcast I listen to has 186 archived episodes on my old phone, but only 68 episodes archived on my new phone.

Can you try logging out and logging back in on all your devices? That will usually resolve issues like this, but if it doesn’t let us know.
