Sync to Watch from phone
-
I love how Pocket Cast allows me to download podcast episodes to my watch. I listen to them while running why is way easier and lighter than running with my phone.
My request is: the ability to start syncing an episode from the phone rather than from the watch as the phone is what I always use and that is provides more “UI space” to do so – the watch is a pretty small screen to do so.

Hi, @maximegousse! To help us log this feature request more accurately for you, can you let us know which watch you’re using? Are you using an Apple Watch? Or are you using an Android smartwatch that’s running Wear OS?
-
I’m not the OP but this idea sounds good to me too. I imagine most people reading this use iPhones and Apple Watches?

Hi @bugsmeany! The Apple Watch app already allows syncing from the iPhone. If you’re not seeing the phone app sync with the Watch app, you can try pressing “Refresh Data” in the Watch app.

Hi @ctdalba, thanks for your responsiveness to OP’s request. I second it.
One request I would add is that when my apple watch syncs with my Up Next folder, it starts by downloading the podcasts LOWEST in my cue. In other words, whatever podcast is slated to be my NEXT one in my feed gets synced LAST. It would be better if it did this the other way around – if I’m about to go for a run, I don’t want to wait for all the podcasts to update – I’m fine if I have the current one and the next 1-2 in my cue. Is there a way to change this? -
