I’m glad you’re enjoying Pocket Casts! I’m not sure where you saw the $14.99 price mentioned as a current price. Checking the history of the forums, I see it’s only mentioned when we discuss the current price, USD$39.99. That is our subscription price for the year and there isn’t an option to join at $14.99

I saw on X that there is a discount for old users at $14.99/year. I have purchased your annual card before, but because of my work, I couldn’t continue to use it. Your app is excellent, and it would be fantastic if I could purchase it again for $14.99.
