the track won’t stop on android auto

  Hello i want to report a weird bug:

  When a track is playing (always a podcast in my case), if i try to stop the track, pocketcast restart the track after a couple of seconds. There is no way to stop it, unless the podcast finishes.

  App version: 7.36

  Phone: motorola – motorola one vision – motorola one vision – kane_sprout
  Kernel: 4.14.113-user+ – ilclbld161
  Android version: 11 SDK 30

  Background refresh: true
  Battery restriction: Optimized

  Car marker: toyota
  model: yaris (2019)

  Otherwise the app is working very well!

  Can you please confirm with us the following:

  • Does this happen with all podcasts, or just a specific one?
  • Has this always been happening, or only started after recent updates?
  • Does setting the battery usage to ‘Unrestricted’ help?
  • Have you tested if you can successfully pause a song using a music app?
