Trim Silence No Longer Working

  The Trim Silence playback effect does not seem to be working any more. I’m noticing pauses between words and sentences that were not there before regardless of any of the Trim Silence settings. This is on an iPhone with Version 7.80 of the app. Is this a known issue? Any advice would be appreciated.

  It would be best for you to contact us from your mobile immediately after you replicate the issue again. When you do that, you will also be sending your app logs with us. You can reach out through the Pocket Casts app — Profile > Help & Feedback > Get in touch. 
  
  When you contact us, please note the title of the episode you were listening to and at approximately what time, so we can correlate it with the information from the logs. You can use the URL of this forum thread as a reference.

  Any updates? Silences are clearly not being trimmed in any podcast.

  I haven’t heard anything. Do you mean I should respond to the email from the Pocket Casts AI Assistant? I submitted the issue through the app with the logs. I’ll also posted this to Pocket Casts subreddit and another person responded they noticed this issue as well.
