Up Next playlist, how to keep played episodes on there

I’ve been searching for help on this. New to Pocket Casts. Once an episode is finished playing or marked as played, it automatically disappears from the Up Next playlist. How do I change this? In other words, I want to keep played episodes on the playlist until I choose toanyally delete them myself. (I have already toggled to “never archive” which didn’t change anything)

There is currently no way to keep an episode in the Up Next queue once it has been played to completion.
That said, I’d love to learn more about why you’d prefer to remove episodes from the queue yourself. Can you please share more about that with us?

I would like to keep the episodes I have listened to in the list. I usually listen to them while I’m in bed, sometimes I fall asleep and miss the episodes. Of course, that’s history and I can add them again, but I’m looking for less work. Also, it’s been at least five years since the developers put various playlists in the development list and nothing.

@ljmoore2002 You can save an episode you want by clicking on the star, so the episode is always in the starred folder even after you’ve finished listening to it.

but then it takes the same amount of clicks/steps as adding, “listening” and re-adding. but that’s ok, life goes on.

@tmeireles Thanks for sharing your use case with us. However, this would not be possible with the up next queue. As you’ve mentioned, using the listening history would be best to go back and rewind some of the episodes you’ve missed.
