Is there more in-depth information about Smart Folders? I’m not sure that I understand the difference between Smart Folders and Filters.

We don’t have documentation ready for the feature yet, since its still in beta. But speaking to folders more generally, they would be used for organizing podcasts/shows whereas Filters would be a way of organizing individual episodes based on a number of criteria that isn’t necessarily based on the specific podcast the episode is from.
For folders, for example, if you are following a number of for-pay membership podcasts, you may want to keep all of those in a folder in the Podcasts tab, so that if you cancel your membership to one of the podcast, they would be easier to find and manage.
The smart folders feature can be used to quickly organize your followed podcasts based primarily on genre — Comedy, Education, News, etc.
