Ver 7.74 very slow, many minutes to respond

In the last few days when I open Pocket casts it takes 5 or 10 min to display my Podcasts. Then when push play on one it takes another 5 or 10 min to play it. This is true for podcasts that are not downloaded, only ones it needs to stream. This has only happened only in the last few days, possibly with the 7.74 update. I have tried clearing the app cache, no improvement. Any ideas on how to fix this? Anyone else with this problem?
