“View transcript” button – give free users an option to hide it

  I would like a way to remove the button that says “View transcript” in the Details tab so that I can read information about the podcast episode more easily. I liked when this button did not exist here at all.

  Thanks for your feedback about the new transcript feature and the card in the episode details.

  We added transcripts because we believe they make podcasts more accessible and useful, whether you need them for accessibility, want to quickly search an episode, or just prefer reading along. We know not everyone wants or needs them, but many listeners have asked for this over the years.

  The goal with the card in episode details is to surface something helpful right away. We understand some of you dislike this and we’re working on your feedback.
