WatchOS app crashes/no longer works (SE 1st Gen)

@quietjoy3883 we don’t have anything to share on this at the moment. If you’d like to keep track of the progress on this, though, you can find the GitHub issue for it here:
https://github.com/Automattic/pocket-casts-ios/issues/2242
And please let us know if you’d like to join our TestFlight beta. This way, you’ll have immediate access to any potential fixes that are released. You can also report to the developers directly on the beta Slack.

So, is anything new on the horizon?
I have no interest in the beta program and don’t really want to give any further feedback. By now, the Watch app is still broken. As a paying customer who has been using the app for years, this whole process is just terrible.
I had to reset the watch and was forced to set everything up again, now I’m supposed to go to more trouble, and somehow I’m missing the acknowledgement that it’s really a huge bummer when an app no longer works as promised.

I second the above – the functionality that justified my subscription cost has been dead for far too long now.
I get that you need people to support your beta.. but asking demonstrably aggrieved and triggered customers to help sweep for bugs (sub out internal QA for free!!) in a service they have paid for is not a good look.. insult and injury and all that.
Please.. can we just have an update. I’m on the brink of cancelling my subscription because you guys just aren’t talking…

@quietjoy3883 and @bluebirdbaby1e81b5d00e I’m really sorry this hasn’t been a great experience. We released what we thought could be a fix for this issue, but it hasn’t been enough. For context, we hadn’t changed anything in the app before the issue happened. The issue only really started when watchOS 10.6.1 was released, so it’s been challenging for us to find the root cause.
