wear os watch: playing episodes through the Watch speaker.

    Hi,

    I just recently started using my galaxy watch 7 to listen to pocketcast. For different reasons, i ended up in situation where i wiukd have want to keep lirstening to my podcast on my watch but I realised it was not possible.

    I am missing the ability to play episodes through the Watch speaker.

    Is it something you have on your roadmap?

    Currently, playback through the watch’s speaker is not supported on the Pocket Casts Wear OS app. Playback is only available through Bluetooth speakers or headphones.

    We have heard from others that would like to see support for this added, though. I’ll go ahead and add your comment to the existing feature request.

    @grimor57 I apologise for the slow response. I wanted to let you know that we have added this feature to the codebase, and it will be included in version 8.3. Since it’s the end of the year, it won’t enter beta testing until 5th January. Thank you for your patience!
