What are the differences between the web player and the Windows app?
-
I’ve had the web player on my Windows PC for a number of years and do enjoy using it. Recently I noticed there is a Pocket Casts Windows app available and am wondering how is it different form the web player and is it considered to be better than the web player?

The two main improvements of the Windows app over the Web Player are:
- Enhanced support for chapters (there are some formats of metadata we can’t extract on the web alone).
- A miniplayer for easier control of playback while multitasking.
We have plans to add more features in the future, so stay tuned!
