Why do I see “No Episodes Found”
-
I’m a daily podcast listener. Sometimes I’ll go to one of my favorites and it will just say, “No Episodes Found” when I know there are dozens if not hundreds. Big ones like Rachel Maddow, Snap Judgement, Casefile. Sometimes they come back and it seems fine then disappear again. Sometimes all episodes are there and moments later they’re all gone again and can stay gone a couple of weeks. I’ve reinstalled the app which solved the problem for a week or so but then the problem resumed. Is there a cache I need to clear? Any ideas why this could be happening?

Hi, @kevinefox2! We don’t have recent reports like this, so this is very interesting. To start, can you share the following?
- The OS version on your device – you can usually find this from your phone’s Settings
- Your Pocket Casts app version – you can see this from the Pocket Casts app’s Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About
- Are you running a firewall, VPN, or ad-blocker active on your device that could interrupt your network connection?
- Please also check your primary WiFi connection. In particular, please see if it has any sort of ad-blocking or filtering installed on it. One example would be this: https://pi-hole.net/
In addition, when you encounter the issue again, can you please try connecting to a different network or even to mobile data? Then, please see if the issue doesn’t occur with that connection.
