Windows Fast Forward and Rewind Media Keys Stopped Working Recently

Hello! First, I love pocket casts!
I have physical media buttons I have used for YEARS that have worked great in Pocket Casts; This is one of the key features that made me select this app over others in the first place years ago.
I noticed very recently (in the last few days?) that the windows app stopped working with media keys. Play/Pause seems to work, as does stop, and my mute button works (but I think that’s Windows and not Pocket Casts). I have verified these FF+Rewind (or prev track/next track, but they always worked like FF+rewind) work in other apps (like FooBar 2000). I also have media keys built into my keyboard, which work (or do not work, respectively) exactly the same as my other physical buttons (i.e. mute, stop, play/pause work on my keyboard, but FF+rewind do not).
Troubleshooting steps I tried, that did not work:
1. Closing all other programs, including killing many processes in Task Manager.
2. Rebooting
3. Uninstalling and Reinstalling the app (from a fresh download from your download site)
4. As mentioned, verifying these keys work in other apps.I use these keys regularly while playing video games to rewind things to re-listen to parts I may have missed and I miss this control desperately.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps I should try?

Update! I just tried the browser version under latest Chrome, and these keys work as expected. There seems to be a problem in the windows app!

I’ve run into the same problem and it is such an important feature for me I was considering switching to a different app. Thank you for the tip that the web version still works!
Just for additional info FF and Rewind are the only keys disabled. It appears related to the windows media controls widget. The FF and Rewind buttons are greyed out in the quick access menu. Tried not just using keyboard controls but a button on my earbuds, and a virtual keyboard through steam. None of them work anymore even though play/pause works with all of them.
Would love to get a fix so I can go back to the app. -

This seems to be fixed now. I was just using the web version for the last month, and just decided to try again since there have been some updates.
