Adjust remaining time question

  Hey,

  I set “Adjust remaining time” in the app, but the remaining time shown on the player screen is different from what’s on the widget.

  I’m listening at 1.1x speed + silence skip. On the player screen (where the play button is) the remaining time shows up correctly, but on the widget it displays like it’s running at normal 1.0x speed.

  Would love some help with this, thanks a lot!

  The widget not reflecting the adjusted remaining time (accounting for playback speed and Trim Silence) is a known limitation. The General Settings KB article notes that external interfaces don’t currently apply Pocket Casts’ adjusted remaining time calculation, and a home screen widget falls into that same category.

  So what you’re seeing is expected behaviour for now, not a bug with your setup.
