Allow to add files to playlists
-
I just added multiple files of a single AudioBook, and it would be nice to be able to create a playlist where I can add these files to in order to have a better streamlined way of playing this audio book.
Or, one could perhaps have folders in the file section, and these folders could be treated as a Podcast in the main interface of the application. -

+1 for this feature. I used to be a Plus member for the files feature alone. I have hundreds of lectures on mp3 that I don’t want taking up space on my phone. But with no ability to organize them by topic, it became an unwieldy mess and not worth the hassle. I would definitely consider resubscribing if this feature were added.

+1 on this. Having all uploaded files in a big file without any way to sort or filter is too much of a mess.

+1 from me also! I’ve always wanted this feature because of all the audio dramas and audiobooks that I have.

i would like to also request this feature.
i’ve got some downloaded supplemental episodes from patreon that fit in between episodes of a podcast; it would be really great to be able to create a playlist so they are all playable in the correct order, without having to use the ‘up next’ feature (so that i can go back to it at any time and they’re in the right order).
i really enjoy the functionality if the app otherwise; it would be really annoying to have to switch to a different app just for the one or two podcasts that have extra files

This is vital to Pocketcasts and I don’t see a good reason why it’s not a feature already. I have hundreds of open source lectures that I’d want to neatly organise as folders and playlists, but PC doesn’t even give me an option to manage them well. Please, please, please give us this feature soon, I may otherwise have to move to another alternative.
