Background/Theme Color in “Up Next”

I’m switching over from Castro, and I think I can make this work if I set up the filters correctly in the New Releases section, but one thing might be a deal breaker –
I can’t find any way to change the background in the “Up Next” list/player so it’s not just dark/black. I’ve adjusted all the appearance in the settings so that “use iOS light/dark mode” is off and the theme is “default light” and I’m not seeing any other options, but the background for the queue is still black.
Am I missing something? Except for a few brief checks of my new releases/inbox each day, 99% of my podcast listening is from this screen and I have a lot of trouble reading against the black background. -
We don’t have any plans for supporting this at the moment. However, I have added your suggestion to our feature requests.

I thought I would add to this as feedback that the player interface itself (now playing, details, bookmarks) seems to be the only place in the app that doesn’t switch between light and dark theme. It’s always dark. Is this intentional? I think it would be good to have this with light and sync with os as options too.
