Bug in iOS app: skip right goes back in time

Hi there,
For the last few versions, I’ve been experiencing the following bug on iOS, both when using headphones and Apple CarPlay:
When I want to skip forward 30 seconds in a podcast (for example, to skip advertisements), I used to be able to use the “Skip Track” button on my in-ear headphones or in my car.
However, it now jumps 15 seconds backward instead of forward.
Am I the only one who’s facing that issue?

That does sound frustrating. One thing worth checking first: in Pocket Casts on iOS, the headphone button behaviour can be configured separately from the in-app skip buttons. Go to Profile > Settings > Headphone Controls and check what action is assigned to the Next and Previous buttons. If either is set to “Previous Chapter” or “Skip Back”, that would explain the backward jump.
You can also confirm your skip forward and skip back durations under Profile > Settings > General (the Skip Controls article has the full steps). If the headphone controls are already set correctly and it’s still going backward, it would help to know which iOS version and Pocket Casts version you’re on so the team can dig further.
